Cayman Islands Marathon

	Sure, you could run just about anywhere in the world! But wouldn’t you prefer to run on a safe, beautiful Caribbean island, surrounded by tropical flora and fauna, charming homes flawlessly landscaped and magnificent views of the sea? Well, if you agree then the Cayman Islands Marathon is for you! This event offers 4 different races: the full 26.2 mile marathon, the half 13.1 mile marathon, the four-person team relay and the Kids Fun Run. This will be the 7th year for this marathon. The Caribbean is well known for its culture, food, and relaxed atmosphere and this event has all of that and more! This is a Champion Chip timed event. TIME TRACKER: Friends, family, and runners can now get results via cell phone, pager, PDA, or e-mail by registering for Time Tracker. 4-Person Marathon Relay Team

TEAM CAPTAINS must register and pay for entire team during registration. You can login with user account to add/change runners by selecting TEAM ROSTER MANAGEMENT from your athlete home page.

Must be 4 person team, any combination of men and women. AllSportCentral will provide Champion Chip Timing Relay splits for each leg.

Each leg will be around 6-7 miles.

Chip must be a velcro strap around ankle and exchanged between runners within the relay exchange zone shortly after crossing the timing mats. Team Captain must pay for all entrants.

Kids Fun Run

IF YOU ARE A CHILD ATTENDING A CAYMAN GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOL YOU NEED TO REGISTER THROUGH YOUR SCHOOL. This race is for kids between the ages of 7 and 12 years old. Sponsored by the Cayman Islands Government's Ministry of Education and Sports, this race is FREE to students from Government/public schools and US$12.50 for kids from the private schools or visiting.
