PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN REGISTERING ONLINE FOR ANY OF THE CHARLOTTE TURKEY TROT RACES, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FEE BY THE ONLINE SERVICE PROVIDER, ALONG WITH THE USUAL CREDIT CARD FEES.
THIS IS A FEE THAT THE ONLINE REGISTRATON SERVICE PROVIDER, IN THIS CASE ALLSPORTRUNNING.COM, CHARGES FOR USING THEIR SERVICE. NONE OF THE EXTRA FEES GOES TO THE RACE OR THE BENEFICIARIES. THE CHARLOTTE TURKEY TROT MERELY CONTRACTS WITH ALLSPORTRUNNING TO BE ABLE TO OFFER ONLINE REGISTRATION AS A CONVENIENCE TO IT'S PARTICIPANTS. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PAY THESE FEES, THEN YOU ARE CERTAINLY WELCOME TO MAIL IN OR DROP OFF YOUR REGISTRATION FORMS AT EITHER ONE OF THE CHARLOTTE RUNNING COMPANY STORES.
Online Registration will CLOSE on Tuesday, November 24th at 6pm. After that time you will have to register at the Bojangles' at 6555 Morrison Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28211 between 1pm and 8pm on November 25th.
Please note that Race Day registration is not guaranteed. Please register early to avoid dissapointment!
1 Mile Fun Run - 8:30am, 8K - 9:00am, 5K Walk - 9:00am
AWARDS
Awards Ceremony will be held for the top 3 Male and Female Overall winners and the top Male and Female Masters winners in the 8K race. Age group will also be announced. Age Divisions: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64 & over. Race results - will be posted at the race site as soon as possible after the conclusion of the race and on the web at www.charlotteturkeytrot.com, on the RMS Website: www.rmssports.com and in Running Journal magazine. There will be no duplication of awards. Tot Trot - Participants will receive a special award just for participating . 1 Mile Fun Run/ 5K Walk - All participants will receive a commemorative multi-color long sleeved T-shirt; no other awards will be given.

Registration Drop-off on 11/25/08 at Bojangles' on Morrison, 6555 Morrison Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28211 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Tot Trot fee is $6.00. Children ages walking thru 6 years old will run a children’s marathon distance of 26.2 yards beginning at 10:00 a.m. Children will compete within their own age divisions.
Race Day Registration will only be available if the race has not reached it's limit. Last year, race day registration was cancelled. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID DISSAPOINTMENT! Limited Race Day registration will be available beginning at 6:30 a.m. and will cease at 8:30 a.m. at the Bojangle's on Morrison Boulevard. 6555 Morrison Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28211. Race Day fee is $40 for the 8K, and $30 for the 1 Mile Run / 5K Walk.
